Port Huron, Oct. 16 - The stmr. MAJESTIC, bound up on Lake Huron, became disabled when off Sand Beach, with a loose shoe. She went into Sand Beach for repairs and when she started out again, her rudder stock broke off. She is now being towed here by the tugs MERRICK and BOYNTON to receive a new rudder. The Sand Beach dispatch states that the MAJESTIC broke her shoe in entering the harbor of refuge and broke her rudder when she started out.
