The weather on Friday night (11/29) was exceedingly boisterous; the wind blowing furiously from the north west accompanied at times with blinding snow.
We give the following marine mishaps as have reached us from Detroit and other localitities. The following is from Detroit:
The bark HOMER is ashore at Point LaHard in the Straits, and the schooner DELAWARE with 30,000 bushels wheat, bound down is ashore at Holland, near Grand Haven, Lake Michigan.

NOTE:- Point LaHard in the Straits ?? could this be Point La Barbe, which is in the straits of Mackinaw. ??
      ON A WRECKING EXPEDITION. - The wrecking tug LEVIATHAN has gone to the east shore to rescue, if possible, the schooner DELAWARE, which stranded near Holland, last fall.

      REBUILT. - The bark DELAWARE, which went ashore last fall on the east side of Lake Michigan, and at the time pronounced a total loss, has been rebuilt at Chicago, and is again ready for service. The cost of repairs, including outfit, has been about $20,000.
