"The Principle Of Monarch In Honour" - A large amount of notes of the Welland Canal Company, issued under the sanction of a provincial charter, will fall due on the 13th inst., and thence almost weekly for four months ensuing. Of course no person can doubt that "honour" will be persevered in the prompt payment of these as well as the notes of all other corporate companies. - Comm.
