The Gale.-- The Milwaukie fleet has suffered some during the last ten days. At Manitowoc, the SAVANNA and DRIFT are ashore. The LIBERTY is ashore at Sheboygan. Three of the fleet were to the Manitoo Island. The propeller VANDALIA parted her chain and went ashore at the Island. She was gotten off without injury. -- Milwaukie Herald.

      EFFECTS OF THE GALE. -- The Autumn season so far has been unusally boisterous in this region. The steamboat CONSTITUTION arrived here on Saturday, some three days behing her time. The brig ALBANY, went ashore on Sunday the 1st inst., a few miles from Mackinac. A passenger who was on board of her, says she had 120 passengers, and a full freight, the greater portion of which was destined for Milwaukee. The schooners SAVANNAH and DRIFT, are ashore at Manitowoc. The propeller VANDALIA went ashore at Manitou. -- Mileaukee Courier.

The Brig ST. LOUIS has gone ashore near the Sleeping Bear on the Michigan Shore-- the vessel will be lost. The brig INDIANA in a gale on Lake Michigan, threw over 1,000 bushels of wheat, and 300 barrels of flour; a part of the flour has been picked up on the east shore of Lake Michigan. The schooner DRIFT, also went ashore near White Lake. -- Milwaukie Herald.
