An interest in the tug PACIFIC was sold yesterday by Messrs. Smith & Davis to Erie parties. The tug has left for the port named where she will take the place of the TILLINGHAST which was burned there last week.

      The tug TILLINGHAST while towing the schooner JAMES C. HARRISON into Erie harbor, and when several miles from the port, caught fire and burned to the water's edge. The captain and fireman jumped overboard and were picked up by the vessel. Loss is $5,000, which is covered by insurance.

      The tug TILLINGHAST while towing the schooner HARRISON into the port of Erie Wednesday, caught fire when several miles out on the lake, and burned to the water's edge. The captain and fireman jumped overboard and were picked up by the HARRISON. Loss $5,000, insured for $6,000.
