We learn by telegraph, that the brig HAMPTON, loaded with staves, is ashore at Point au Pelee.

      The Detroit Free Press states the brig HAMPTON, with a cargo of staves for this port, is ashore at Pt. Pelee, on the west side of the reef. The Captain came up to this city yesterday for a tug to go to her relief.
