Resolute (Schooner), aground, 1 Jun 1857

Description
Full Text

The schooner RESOLUTE, with a cargo of 15,000 bushels wheat, from Racine for L. Rawson, met thick, foggy weather in the Straits of Mackinac, and ran on the rocks of Shelfy Reef. She had to jettison about four or five hundred bushels of wheat in order to get off, and arrived this morning, all right, with the exception of the above loss. - Cleveland Herald, 12.
