Detroit, May 31. - When steamer DENVER struck Fighting Island this morning she was under full headway and ran out about four feet on a clay bottom. Her cargo is now being lightened. Steamer GRECIAN, bound down with ore, is aground below Flats canal. She is being assisted by steamers of the same line and will soon be released.
