ON THE ROCKS. - The steamer ITALIA, bound down light for Buffalo for a cargo of coal, is on the rocks at Sturgeon Point Reef, about 18 miles up the south shore of Lake Erie.
The tugs MEDINA and HEBARD have been sent from here to the steamer's assistance. Sturgeon Point Reef is where the steamer JOHN M. NICOL went on a few weeks ago.
