SEVERE GALE ON LAKE MICHIGAN. - A large number of vessels have gone ashore at various points on the Michigan side of the lake, and a great amount of property destroyed. At Grand Haven the scow ACTIVE went ashore on the South Bar; also the schooner ILLINOIS, owned by F.G. Gilbert, of this city, and his brother. She is loaded with lumber, and, will be easily got off by taking out her cargo.
      The brig St. LOUIS, went ashore at Muskegon last Wednesday, caused by the unshipping of her rudder. She got off on Sunday. - Grand Rapids Enquirer, 21st
