The schooner MERIDIAN, bound to Chicago with a cargo of lumber, came into port on Sunday evening in a sinking condition, with the loss of her sails. She sprang a leak during the gale of Saturday night, and with great difficulty succeeded in reaching this port. - Milwaukee Sentinel, Tuesday.
