Codorus (Propeller), sunk by collision, 18 Sep 1893

Description
Full Text

Duluth, Sept. 18. - The new steel Anchor Line freighter CORODUS was sunk in the harbor in a collision with the G.G. HADDLEY. The injuries to the vessel cannot be estimated until she is raised. The damage to the cargo depends on whether the doors in the watertight bulkhead were closed or not. The loss is not likely to be under $20,000, and may reach a much higher figure.
