Lyons, Oct. 16. - The storm that commenced Friday night did great damage throughout the country. At Sodus Point the schooner B.W. FOLGER from Kingston, arrived Saturday morning with her main gaff topsail and flying jib blown away. She had two feet of water in her hold.
The steam tug CORNELIA picked up the FOLGER with distress signals flying.
