Schooner ERIE WAVE, of Port Burwell, 263 tons, built 1882, capsized on Lake Erie September 8, 1885, and became a total loss. Value of loss $4,000.

      Schooner ERIE WAVE, of Port Burwell, 3 years old and of 72 tons register. Bound from Buffalo to Port Burwell vessel capsized on Lake Erie September 8, 1885 during a squall, two lives lost. A partial loss with a value of loss at $800.
