Description
Full Text

The scow FORWARDER, while being towed into Black River this forenoon, struck upon a projecting log of the raft that lies ice-bound in the stream, and ripped two or three planks off her side. She sank almost immediately. She lies in shallow water, her rail being just below the surface. She was loaded with stone for Mr. Jed Spaulding's kiln. She is now being stripped.
