The steamer CLEVELAND, bound from Chicago for Lake Superior, laden with merchandise and supplies for the miners, in entering Eagle Harbor, struck upon a rock and stove a hole in her bottom from which she sunk. Her cargo was saved but somewhat damaged. A steam pump of the Home Insurance Company was sent to her from Detroit by the steamer NORTHERN LIGHT.

THE SUNKEN STEAMER CLEVELAND. -- By the steamer IRON CITY, which arrived at this port on Thursday night, from Lake Superior, we learn that the steamer CLEVELAND is still sunk near the pier at Eagle Harbor. A steam pump has been sent to her, and doubtless she will soon be afloat again. --- Cleveland Leader.

The steamer CLEVELAND, recently sunk at Eagle Harbor, Lake Superior, has been raised and has arrived at Detroit. Excepting the damage to her bottom she has sustained comparatively but little injury. She was first taken to Marquette, and although in a leaky condition was kept free by the two steam pumps that were sent up to raise her.
