Buffalo, Oct. 30, -- The schooner PENOKEE which was ashore near Port Maitland, was tonight in tow of the tug FABIAN. She was leaking, but one steam pump keeps her afloat. The wreckers lightered 200 tons of coal on to the barge TAYLOR, but still the tug FABIAN had to pull on her for over thirty-eight hours, and dragged her over a mile of bottom. She was finally released at 9 o'clock this morning. The shoe is badly damaged and she steered badly coming down the lake. She will be docked for examination and repairs.
