The steamer BINGHAMTON is ashore on the south shore of Manitou Island. Wreckers have gone to her.

      BINGHAMTON RELEASED
      The steamer BINGHAMTON, which went ashore on South Manitou Island last week, has been released after lightering 600 tons of package freight. She will be brought to the plant of the Buffalo Dry Dock Company for repairs.
