STEAMER SPOKANE IS EXPECTED HERE TODAY.
The steamer SPOKANE is expected to reach Buffalo this afternoon on her first trip since she was raised after being sunk in a collision a couple of years ago. She is coming down from Port Huron and will engage in the package freight traffic. The SPOKANE was raised by the Reid Wrecking Company after having been abandoned by the underwriters. The Reid Company still owns the ship. She is under the command of Capt. Edward Benham of Cleveland and Robert Kerr, also of Cleveland, is first mate.
