STEAMER BIXBY DAMAGED.
      Cleveland, O., Sept. 2. - The steamer W. K. BIXBY of Detroit and the steamer F. B. WELLS were in collision at Ashtabula yesterday. The BIXBY's starboard anchor was smashed, her hawse pipe broken and a number of plates dented. She is loading coal and will make repairs before she sails.
