It is reported that an attempt will be made to secure the old schooner Porcupine, now in Spring lake, a relic of the Battle of lake Erie, for the Field Columbian museum of Chicago. The wreck is the property of Mr. Bulthouse, a mechanic, who says he will cut it up and pack it away, as the timbers are rotting rapidly in the open air. In cutting up some of the old vessel recently Mr. Bulthouse found sixty-seven shot and one bullet imbedded in the wood.
