Sturgeon Bay, April 17 - W.D. Hamilton, shore captain for the Hines
Lumber Co., arrived here today to superintend the wrecking operations on the
stm. PAHLOW, owned by that company. The stm. L.E. HINES of the same fleet
is here and will be used in getting the PAHLOW afloat.

      Sturgeon Bay, April 20 - The stm. LOUIS PAHLOW, lately ashore at Clay
Banks, was put in drydock today. An examination shows its wheel broken,
stern post, shoe and rudder gone, and many planks broken. Cost of repairs
is estimated at $2,500, exclusive of wrecking expenses. The barge DELTA has
not been docked.
