Tonawanda, June 13 - While passing from the Tonawanda Creek into the
Erie Canal here this afternoon the fishing yacht VIOLA at Buffalo, collided
with the lock bridge, damaging her upper works. She was bound from Dunkirk
to Lockport where she will be drydocked for repairs.
