Description
Full Text

Port Huron, Nov. 9. - The weather is the severest of the season, but there is no prospect of snow. The vessels and propellers included in this report are all detained here. The
propeller MONTGOMERY collided with the schooner FLORIDA, while at anchor, and carried away that vessel's jibboom and bowsprit; the MONTGOMERY's cabin was badly stove. The schooner GOSHAWK lost her yawl boat and fore-sail on Lake Huron today. The RED, WHITE, and BLUE, with cargo shifted and topsail split, arrived down this evening. The barge RUSSELL, which was ashore on Stag Island, was released today. The schooner NEW DOMINION lost her boat and had her foresail split, and her mate injured by being struck with the foreboom.
