Consuello (Scow), U4572, struck piles, 1 Aug 1866

Description
Full Text

SCOW SUNK. - last week the scow CONSUELLO was sunk in Portage Bay, near Moore's Dock, by running on the pound stakes. We understand that the owner of the scow has brought suit against the proprietors of the pound for recovery of damages. An interesting legal question is likely to ensue in regard to the lake fisheries. - Ottowa Union.
