Alpena, Mich., June 11. - The Gilrhrist steamer CITY OF ROME, and the Canadian schooner VIENNA, collided in the fog off Thunder Bay Island this morning. The ROME is uninjured. The VIENNA lost both masts, jibboom, and her bow was torn to pieces. A sailor in the forecastle narrowly escaped death.
