      The LEVIATHAN succeeded in pulling the bark FAVORITE off Spectacle Reef on the 29th ult., the day after she went on. The bark jettisoned some 25 tons of coal. The LEVIATHAN towed her to Mackinac, from whence she sailed for Chicago, where she has safely arrived.
