      A Leak.-- We learn that the steamboat ROCHESTER sprung a leak night before last when about 40 miles this side of Buffalo, and put back. She had two feet oof water in the hold, which a constant working of the pumps did not gain upon. The water was within a few inches of the grates.--Cleve Herald.
