      Port Huron, April 20 - The stm. MERIDA bound down last night collided with the barge CHOON, bound up in tow of the stm. ISABELLA BOYCE, just outside of the canal. The MERIDA struck the CAHOON on the port bow, doing a large amount of damage. The CAHOON will be unloaded here and docked for repairs.
