Full Text

Sunday morning on Port Huron the schr. NABOB, with wheat from Racine for this city, collided with the bark ELIZABETH JONES, bound up, losing her bowsprit and head gear, besides other damages. The damages to the JONES were slight. JONES was evidently too much for the NABOB this time.

The owners of the schr. NABOB claim $1,500 damages of the schr. ELIZABETH JONES, on account of the collision in the Straits on the 13th of July. The Chicago Inter-Ocean says recourse to the law was threatened, but there is now prospect of settlement.
