The small schr. ELLINGTON, was driven on to the Erie Basin Breakwater Friday night and had gone to pieces. The crew were saved by a tug.

The storm on Lake erie Friday night was one of the most severe of the season. At least it has proved the most disastrous to shipping.... The small schr. ELLINGTON, was driven on the Erie Basin breakwater and broken up. The crew were rescued by a tug.
