The steamer City of Kalamazoo should have left South Haven (Mich.) Friday for an excursion party. It was her first trip of the season, and there was a general howl from her crew against her sailing on Friday. The captain was as thoroughly saturated with superstition as the rest, and to the disappointment of an immense crowd he did not leave his dock until fifteen minutes after midnight of the next day.
