      Capt. B.G. Kohner, of the schr. LEVI GRANT,, reports that about 3:30 yesterday afternoon, some 25 miles northeast of the north off this port, his mate John Leonard, while engaged in taking a reef in the mizzen, fell from the mizzen boom and was drowned. The deceased leaves a wife and family at Clam Lake, Michigan. - Chicago Post & Mail, 16th.
