A Kingston dispatch this morning says that the Royal Canadian Steamship Co.'s stm. CORSICAN ran on the rocks at South Bay Pt., Lake Ontario, during the severe gale yesterday and has 6 ft. of water in her hold. She is valued at $50,000 and is probably fully insured.

Kingston, Nov. 3. -- The steamer MAGNET is assisting the H. A. CALVIN in the raising of the CORSICAN, sunk in the South Bay. She brought down 25 tons of cargo. The pumps are working constantly, but the steamer is hard to move and in great danger.

South Bay, Nov. 4. -- The steamer CORSICAN arrived here this morning at 3 o'clock, after having been taken off South Bay Point, wher she went ashore on Monday morning on the way to Hamilton. They are now preparing to start her for Kingston with the tugs HIRAM CALVIN and CHIEFTAIN, and expect to be in Kingston on this evening. She has got three steam pumps on board, and Captain Howard, the Company's Superintendent is with her.

The steamer CORSICAN has been safely docked at Ogdensburg. There are two large rocks in her hull. They were punched through her bottom and lodged inside the boat. It will cost about $7,000 to repair her.
