The large schr. JAMES COUCH, which reached port yesterday, had a rough experince on Lake erie Saturday night and was obliged to knock away some bulwarks to free her decks of water. During the passage through Lake Huron Thursday night, a sailor named McMannus, hailing from Painesville, Ohio, was washed overboard and drowned.
