Cheboygan, Oct. 1. -- The Canadian steamer SHICKLUNA and consort St. LOUIS, both grain laden, are ashore nine miles north of East Tawas. Both are repoited to be full of water. The wrecking tug FAVORITE has gone to their assistance.
East Tawas, Oct. 1 -- The captain of the WESTFORD, which has just come in for shelter, reports that the SHICKLUNA and consort St. LOUIS are on the beach one mile north of Fish Point. A heavy sea was breaking over both boats. He was unable to see anything of the crews, even with marine glasses. The boats are about half a mile apart. The St. LOUIS is lying broadside to the shore and is badly twisted. The lifesaving crew left here at 10 o'clock for the wrecks.

The Canadian steamer SHICKLUNA and her consort the St. LOUIS, stranded above fish Point in last Thursday's storm, have jumped the bar and the wrecking tugs cannot get alongside of them. The St. LOUIS has opened up both sides of the stern and will probably be a total loss.
