The schooner THOMAS GAWN, towed by a tug, collided with the schooner CLARA PARKER in the river yesterday. The GAWN lost her jibboom, but continued on to Port Huron in tow of the tug, where she will be repaired and then go on to Chicago.
April 29, 1878
Port Huron, April 30. -- The schooner THOMAS GAWN carried away her jibboom coming out of Cleveland, and is receiving a new one at this port.
