Port Elgin, July 22. -- The schooner MOUNTAINEER, of Owen Sound, which was blown ashore during the high wind which prevailed here Saturday evening is now almost a total wreck. The tug NELLIE HARPER, of this place, tried to pull the MOUNTAINEER off today, but did not succeed. The schooner is now, and will be, left to the mercies of the wind and water.
