The schooner James R. Benson, commanded by Capt. Saxie Brooks, has been boycotted by the seaman's union. No union man is allowed to sail with him on the Benson or any other schooner that he may hereafter command. The Benson made her trip from Port Dalhousie to Garden City lately with a cargo of timber and only one man before the mast.
