Capt. E. P. Dorr received the following dispatch yesterday:
      Kingston, C. W., Sept. 11.
The propeller AKRON is ashore at Long Point, Lake Ontario. She is loaded with a cargo of corn. Have sent a tug to her assistance.
      Capt. Dorr also received another dispatch, stating that the barge CATO sank Wednesday at Gallop Rapids, Lake Ontario, with 10,700 bushels of wheat, which she shipped on the propeller AKRON at Detroit, and re-shipped over the Welland Railway.
