The tug EVANS of the Great Lakes Towing Company stranded on Racine Reef during a fog early yesterday morning while towing the schooner ATHENS from Milwaukee to Chicago. The tug is out two feet. The crew was rescued by the Racine life-saving crew. Tugs have been sent to assist the EVANS.
