The tug AMERICAN EAGLE arrived at Toledo yesterday, 20 hours overdue on Lake Erie, and her safe arrival relieved the fear she had met with trouble on her run from Fairport. She had stopped at Fairport to avoid a northwest gale. The Sand scow KAMBALL was caught in the storm and dashed ashore at Avon Point, but the crew reach safety in a small boat.
