The Merida Transportation Company filed a libel yesterday against the steamer TROY, asking for $793.37. The libellant own, the schooner VINLAND and it claimed that on August 14, 1903, the TROY passed the VINLAND at the head of Lake Erie at such speed and within such improper distance as to cause the VINLAND to run up on her tow line and sheer sharply so as to break the line.
