MITCHELL STRANDED; HIT BY CONSORT.
Ashland, May 20. -- The disabled steamer SAMUEL MITCHELL was towed in here last night, having gone ashore in a fog last night. Her consort, the CHICKAMAUGA, struck the stranded boat and damaged her rudder. The MICHELL was bound down with ore. It is expected that both boats can be repaired here.
