Excursion Boat in a Collision. -- The excursion boat GARDEN CITY collided with the propeller AVON in the harbor last night owing, it is said, to a misunderstanding of signals. The stern of the excursion boat was slightly damaged, but no one was injured. The passengers were greatly excited, and to make matters worse, some low-browed idiot yelled that the boat was sinking. Calm was restored finally and the boat went her way.
