Sheriff Blaine, by proper authority took command of the schooner DeWitt CLINTON while in port last week, and immediately advertised that she would be for sale, this week. On Monday morning he discovered that she had sailed the night previous, to some port unknown, without her new commander and to the great disappointment of all interested in her contemplated voyage.
