The Port of Kingston was visited by a severe hurricane on Thursday night last. The American schooner BYRON was driven on shore near Point Frederick, and the TRAFALGER narrowly missed sharing the same fate.. Much damage was done at H. M. Dock Yard. --- Kingston Spectator.
