The schooner Emblem, of Hamilton, Capt. Malcomson, was run down on Thursday night last by the steamer America. Capt. Masson, while on her trip to Oswego. Want of proper lights on the Emblem as alleged to have been the cause of this sad accident. Five lives were lost.
