Port Huron, Sept. 27. -- The storm only abated at sundown tonight. The schooner SAVELAND, in running back from Lake Huron last night, where she had lost her jib and broke off her fore gaff, ran into the schooner LEONARD SEATON, which was at anchor abreast this city, and carried away her mainmast. The SAVELAND lost her jibboom in the encounter.

The owner of the schooner SAVELAND telegraphs from Milwaukee that he is informed the vessel split her mainsail and two jibs, and then, running into the schooner SEATON, lost her jibboom, bowsprit, and headgear and crushed her bulwarks to some extent. --- Inter-Ocean 30th.
