Kingston News: Capt. Connors of the schooner Watertown was noticed smoking an excellent cigar this morning and on being asked how it came into his posession he told the following little story: After he discharged a cargo of stone at Chicago he was paid $40 too much for freight. He did not discover the mistake until next day, when he went back to the agent who paid him the surplus cash and handed it back. The agent took him to a tobacco store and bought him a box of the very best cigars - they retail at 25 cents each. The captain has given several of his friends in Kingston a good smoke.
